When? Where? Who? Which?
When? Where? Who? Which?
Flowing blood of caged memories.
The cradle of 1000 years of bliss.
I am an actor, eternally metaphorical.
Just like the sphinx,
phinx of the winter desert.
You know the winds of sadness
of the body in both birth and death
The holy actor, eternally metaphorical.
The dark light that fell into the abyss,
marginal.
Brightly burn!
Awaken and sing!
Born into the world!
Birth of a moment!
Over and over again!
When Where Who Which
Wの予言

When Where Who Which
When Where Who Which
Blood of the cage of memory flows
of the cradle of a thousand years of fortune
I am an actor,
eternally to represent the Sphinx
phinx of the desert winter
Of the mortality of newborn flesh
Are the winds of sadness you too know
The holy actor, eternally to represent
the marginaux of darkness and light,
fallen to hell
Shine, burn!
Fade, sing!
Born into the world
Instantaneous birth
Such repetition

When? Where? Who? Which?
When? Where? Who? Which?
The flow of the blood of memories.
The cradle of a thousand years of bliss.
I am an actor.
Just like the sphinx
In the eternal winter desert. Thinks
You know the winds of sadness
of the body as it’s born and dies.
The holy actor, forever…
Cast into hell.
A margin of darkness and light.
Shining! Burning!
Awakening! Singing!
Born into the world!
Born into the moment!
Over and over again!
When Where Who Which

when where who which
when where who which
The flow of blood from the cage of memory
In the cradle of the Thousand-Year Kingdom
I am an actor,
cast for eternity
As a sphinx-phinx in the winter desert
Now you know the mournful wind
Of flesh born to die
A holy actor,
cast for eternity
As a darkly shining marginaux fallen into Hell
Shine! Burn!
Cool down, and sing!
I am born into this world
for but a moment
Which repeats

When Where Who Which
When Where Who Which
Flow of blood from the cage of my memory,
In the cradle of a thousand years of bliss.
And I, an actor cast eternally
as the Sphinx in the desert winter,
Phinx.
Now you know the sadness
of the stillborn flesh.
And I, a holy actor, cast eternally
as a dark shining Margineaux,
cast into Hell.
Glow! Burn!
Cool down, and sing!
Born in this world,
born in an instant,
born all over again.

Translation Notes from allegoriest:

Prophecy of W/ when where who which

I have no idea what is with this. This one has… French? And a horrible Sphinx pun type thing that sounds like saying Sphinx twice that I completely neglected because it would look stupid. Maybe its the duality of the Sphinx? I have no idea.

Translation Notes from EJ:

marginaux
“Marginaux”, as you may have guessed, is French, and while I barely speak a word of French, as best I can tell, as a noun it basically means “something which is marginal or marginalized”, or more specifically a marginalized person, someone who lives on the fringes of society.

Translation Notes From Robert Paige & the Utena Translation Project:

Flow of blood from the cage of my memory,
"Kioku no Ori no Chi no Nagare" - "ori" is written in hiragana and it's hard to get the intended meaning as there are several homophones. Since the next line contains the word "cradle," this "ori" is most likely to be "a cage made of metal pipes to confine a wild animal in." Yet, that is just an educated guess.

as a dark shining Margineaux, cast into Hell.
The word "margineaux" appears in a reasonably large French-English dictionary, apparently the noun form for the adjectival "marginal(e)". It suggests that "an-inkou margineaux" does indeed describe the edge/border where darkness and light meet.
