I'm not looking for a roomie; I really need somewhere I can go and be by myself at the end of an exhausting day, as days traveling invariably are.  I was just all excited about booking the room and wanted to crow.

MissKosmic, Friday-Monday would be great for me, and I'd be more than happy to hitch a ride with you, too - I'll be in Portland. So Chrome, I guess it's up to you whether a non-extended trip like that is okay. (Or whether you could find other lodging for the adjoining nights, or something...) If you're in, though, I'd be happy to share a bed.

Yep, it was originally impossible, but like I said in the main thread, I'll be back in the states earlier than expected!

I've booked my flight.  It saved me about $150 to extend the trip 1 day on either end, which about covers a room for those 2 nights.

Arrive Seattle 10:20 pm Wed 1-Aug-12
Depart Seattle 7:30 am Tue 7-Aug-12

If anyone else finds themselves staying Wed or Mon night, please let me know?  I plan right now on reserving one of the really cheap rooms for those two nights, and the rest of the time I'll be the The Party Room(tm).

Chrome, were you planning to be in the same room with MissKosmic still? That's how it's been looking from this thread.

That's very generous of you Katz, considering I'm a good 2 hours out of your way (if I remember correctly... you're leaving from Portland, right?) did I point out before that I live in Eugene? I'm not sure if I mentioned it, it's kind of important after all >_>

That said, if this still happens I wouldn't mind crashing on a floor for a night, I can take it :p

We've discussed plans, but it's possible I may find a different group to room with. I'm looking for options as far as potential roommates go, not just jumping headfirst down the first possible path I see. It's not that I have trust issues with anyone here or anything, but before reading Katz's post just now I was being confronted with the issue of my planned schedule not being exactly parallel to Misskosmic's... now it looks like I won't have any problems, but I'm still keeping my eyes out and my ears open, as it were.

If we make it, those will be the dates we'll be there. We'd be delighted to join you again on Wednesday night and Monday night.
