At risk of idiot fanning it seems like mixing SKU and Evanescence is great. I've felt that way since finding the Anthy-centric Bring Me to Life amv long long ago.

Though a couple of songs in the R.E.M. album Reveal has a few songs that puts me in SKU nostalgia. Since I don't have the info on me right now and the site that I had bookmarked doesn't seem to exist right now I'll have to elaborate on that at a later date. bleh! However it strikes me as being very duel song like in the almost random imagery but with a more mellow tempo.

I'm sure I've said this before, but I still think My Reply by The Ataris was written for Utena and Anthy.

anyway, i thought the ending of the series would've been even better if instead of just humming to the series theme it had been U2's 'Walk On' (all that you can't leave behind).  well, not really.  but it fits the moment well, wouldn't you say?

Within Temptation's 'Jillian' reminds me of Anshii/Chikane/Suigintou

Fuel's 'Last Time' is good for SaionjixTouga.

Turning Japanese (the vapors), The Scientist (Coldplay), and any song called 'Lullaby' (heard that Cure song?) fit MikagexMamiya.

Tori Amos's 'Virginia' is perfect for Anshii.  from the same album, 'Crazy' could kind of work for JurixKozue.

'Wicked Game' (Chris Isaak) could work for ShiorixKozue.

Nightwish's 'She is my Sin' is good for UtenaxAnshii (avec un peu d'Akio)

A lot of Evanescence songs fit many Utena characters, but I can't believe I never realized how well Everybody's Fool fits Keiko! (And aimed towards Nanami, obviously.)
