  • Description: This episode introduces Tsuchiya Ruka, the fencing club captain Juri replaced after he fell ill. Upon his return he immediately begins stirring up trouble for her, presenting himself to the student council as a duelist, and to Shiori as a love interest. It becomes clear as the episode develops he's not interested directly in either of these things, the target being Juri. BTW, his character design is not very loosely based on the director of the show, Kunihiko Ikuhara, as they both sport outrageous mutant forelocks.
