This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

Thanks for the screenshots, they're hilarious!
Oh dear. I'm terribly sorry, and I hope you don't regret it too much. If you do, I blame the narrative structure. I'm almost doing this like a Let's Play.
Pics?
In other news, I have like, three more quests's worth of screenshots on my computer. No promises when you'll see them, only that you will. And I really need to stop taking forever getting the pics up, I almost couldn't remember what one of the quests was about.
First of all, new hero sim! Yeah, since this wasn't a new building, I could do it at any time, but for the last... quest? two quests? I'd been too lazy.
Wakaba... hrm. Not sure what I think of how this came out. Physician is another one of those professions with pretty limited outfits, and I couldn't really see Wakaba in the heavy robes like I stuck Ruka with, so I guess she and Saionji can just share in the camaraderie of the bright teal leggings. Mind you, hers are a very slightly different shade, 'cause I'm OCD like that.
Speaking of color, her hair stands out. Almost too much. I think I matched it pretty well to the colors from the reference pic, but in Sims Medieval, Real is Brown, and a very specific shade of Dung Ages Brown at that. So the orange tinge makes Wakaba look like a straight-up redhead. Obviously the style is off, but I went for the one that seemed to have the right bangs. Funny how much I've been doing that.
Her personality traits are Friendly and Excitable, and her Fatal Flaw is Insecure.
But, on to questiness! Questiness with Miki and Anthy, because seriously, bards are awesome to play. And for the quest in question, they're going to save the Pit Beast. More on that later.
LOOK AT THAT FOOFY PEN. Look at it. That is the pen of awesome.
And then it's time to work Miki into the web of lies, desire, and betrayal that is the social scene in Ohtori Kingdom.
Or something along those lines, anyways.
Of course, no trip to the Merchant's stall is complete without lute-playing and blackmail-worthy dancing.
And, given Miki's Cowardly flaw, a bout of cowering.
Yeah, dude, those vegetables look real intimidating.
In other news, Dios grew up!
I probably got some of the coloring wrong, and kid's outfits still suck. But there you have it.
Anthy, meanwhile, does magic things.
Before going to meet Miki in the tavern.
Because that's where the Bard lives. In a tavern. Drinking games ahoy! Or, I'll make the sims play them, anyways.
Let's see how drunk we can get Anthy!
Pretty drunk, apparently. Hrm. That's probably not healthy from any perspective.
Also in the tavern? A stage.
On which Miki can play his lute, (or a fiddle, if I buy him one) recite poetry IN THE MOST MELODRAMATIC MANNER POSSIBLE (seen pictured here) or have a play enacted. By two random people, who will wear costumes. Episode titles will be involved, somehow.
And Anthy has a bird!
I call it Chu Chu. So does she. She can make it attack people.
"Now, take this potion..."
"Use it to cook up some meat..."
"And jump in to battle with the Pit Beast!"
Either Miki's wishing he hadn't come up with the brilliant plan of doing this drunk, or he's wishing he was more drunk.
I... I... what... just... what?
I don't think I wanna know.
AND THEN ANTHY BLASTED SOME DUDE WITH HER MAGICAL POWERS.
And Touga was still being a disease vector.
And Juri was pissed off at Anthy.
However, no slapping commenced.
THE END. (Holy phallic imagery, Batman!)
Next time, Saionji declares, "PIERCE THE VEIL OF FATE!" No really, that was in-game. It's a fair or something.

TSM does seem like it would make for a good Let's Play, compared to TS3.
Wakaba turned out cute.

Did Anthy zap that guy on her own or did you make her do it?

Pics?
Maybe. Gio and I are going with a villains-only town, so I think it'll be interesting. If we take pics, we will definitely post

Damn, I'm tempted to get The Sims Medieval too now. For now I have Sims 3 to concentrate on, though.
I recently downloaded NRaas story progression, and have been using Nanami as my test sim.
I'm sure she feels very honored.
(Hopefully this pic isn't too big.)

I was bored.
Sim Shiori and Kozue going all yuri for the cameras.
Touga tries to woo the usual suspect, with little success...
...but has a consolation prize.

Katzenklavier, where did you find that hair for Touga? Doesn't look like the texture I'd usually go for, but I'm lacking in long fabulous hairstyles for my anime dudes in Sims 3.
(I hope this post is okay here.)

Wow, Katzenklavier, your sim chars have maybe the most high fashion faces and figures I've seen out of all the other sim pics on the thread! Kozue is maybe the most stunning CG 3D char I've ever chanced upon, Shiori looks like a teenage Julianne Moore, and Touga here actually looks that famously slender male supermodel Andrej Pejic, only with red hair Great job!

Wow, I love that shot of Touga and Utena. I'm not nearly as meticulous as you guys when I make my sims.

Thanks so much guys! I have absolutely no artistic ability whatsoever, so this is my outlet for prettyish things!

Newsea from Sims 3 Resource has some amazing Anime-styles hair meshes. You can find the hairstyle on her page here.

Right, Newsea. Too bad I can't find a retexture of it. Maybe I should learn to do my own. :C
Anyway, guess what my Nanami got herself while I was playing another family.
Yup.
(Maybe I should have put more effort in her nightgown.)
By the way, what traits do people give their Utena sims? If I remember right, I gave Nanami the Diva, Dramatic and Snob traits, a combo I worried might be a bit over-kill, but this is Nanami we're talking about. I also gave her the Family-Oriented trait, of course.

My first household consisted of Touga, Saionji, and Ruka. I gave Touga the flirty, great kisser, schmoozer, charismatic, and athletic traits. Saionji's were hot-headed, hopeless romantic, athletic, and no sense of humor. Ruka's were good, flirty, great kisser, and athletic.

Well, I'm still not happy about my Touga sim...
But at least drowned sim ghosts are kind of pretty.

That could either be Shadow Boy Touga, or Touga post Child Broiler . . . or both.
edited to add:
"I've found it, Nanami . . . true light!" *shatters into glass shards*

Ah well, that's what ghosts look like. I don't remember if I took a screencap of it, though, but Nanami started complaining about her life at some point. Dude, Nanami, you're talking to your dead brother.

Holy . . . this sounds like such rich fanfic material.

Katzen, those look amazing!
I used the same hair for Touga too, but you actually managed to make yours look like Touga! You must have spent so long on their faces! I try but all my sims faces usually end up turning out the same.

Thanks, Honey Bear! I just love to mod the shit out of The Sims 3. It's one of those games where the best comes from the incredibly creative fan community.
If you want to pretty/realistic up your Sims, I really recommend using replacement skins, hair, eyes, etc. You can get some AMAZING Anime-style stuff from Lemonleaf's blog here, including Japanese-style school uniforms. There's one set that looks almost EXACTLY like the Ohtori uniforms (sadly, I can't understand the Chinese download instructions and I don't have Google Chrome, so I have to make do).
You can also have a lot of fun downloading a pose player and some poses you like to get those really fun shots.
The final trick I recommend is lighting. Just like in real photography, lighting changes everything. The simplest trick is to limit your light sources (put your Sim in a windowless room), then be very conscious about where you place your lamps, candles, etc.
Put all this together and you can make normal ol' Sims graphics look a lot more detailed. Example:
Sorry this is so off-topic. Um...maybe I'll try to post some nekkid Touga ass soon to make up for it!

As an exercise for you, I'm going to leave it up to you to judge whether your post is about "SKU Sims" or not.
No, wait.... I think it's about how you got your SKU Sims to look so good, so...
Edit: However, we as at least one member of the moderation staff also like nekkid Touga ass and we would like to emphasize this.

I really can't remember what was going on in this picture
This happened one time, too
I think Akio has slept with everyone in the neighborhood except maybe Juri and Nanami...
I love my Saionji so much

Gods, Katzenklavier, you know how to use lighting to perfect these gorgeous faces

Well, it's not quite nekkid Touga ass, but uh...do his nipples still count?
