While there were plenty of sexy scenes in the tv show, for me my favorites were in the movie.

When Anthy and Utena are laying on the bed, and Anthy runs her hand down Utena's body.

And my favorite. The very end of the movie, that LOOK Anthy has right before kissing Utena, how she tilts her head towards Utena.

To be honest, there isn't a single scene in Utena that's sexy to me. It's always either terrifying or romantic.

Anything related to the Akio Car, every "Come to me, Anthy" scene, episode 33, Juri being sexually assaulted by Ruka, every time Touga is hanging out with some random chick, it's always creepy, uncomfortable, and unnerving to me because of the many darker implications behind them.

Most of the stuff with Utena and Anthy, on the other hand, seems romantic to me. Exceptions being that scene in the movie where Anthy tries to seduce Utena, which was weird, and the small parts where she subtly manipulates Utena.

The cantarella scene was one of the most romantic scenes in the show to me, with the way it all boils down to "I've hurt you, Utena-sama. I will probably end up hurting you again, too." "That's okay, Himemiya, because I've hurt you, too. Lets have tea together ten years from now." And then Anthy's attempted suicide scene happens, and it all comes full circle.


...I feel like I'm an outcast now.
