radioactivefuzzy - Goes to School

   This dream began on a highway. I was walking, but I was moving as fast as a car. There was nothing around except for median strips and highways and a little outlet mall-looking cluster of buildings. beyond that was a huge, dark forest. I knew that the outlet mall was actually a school of magic where students were taught meditation, alchemy and spellwork. The school I was enrolled to was Ohtori Academy, which was located in the heart of the forest. I was apprehensive about it, and the scary forest wasn't helping. I had a vision of my parents(not my real ones, anime ones) telling me that Ohtori was the best place for me. I started cursing them out in my head.

   When I arrived at Ohtori I was even more freaked out than before. The school building was an old gothic mansion(more like a small palace!) with an interior based on a luxury hotel that was perpetually dimly lit. I passed a couple students in the lobby. Their uniforms were black instead of teal and they all either glared at me or ignored me as I passed. I knew something was seriously wrong, so I decided to snoop. I somehow got to a high floor, possibly the third floor, and I entered one of the doors. The room looked like the tomb beneath Nemuro Memorial Hall, but the coffin drawers were paintings instead. It was as dark as it appeared in the show until I found a light switch and flipped it on. The room was lit a bit brighter than the other areas of the school by a simple but elegant crystal chandelier. On one side of the room there were two large, realistic paintings of the forest outside that made it appear as if the room had windows. Below the false windows was a little burgundy-colored wood desk. On the desk was a pencil holder and a strange object. I went over to the desk so I could examine the object and figure out what it was. When I touched the object, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and found myself staring right at Akio, who simply smiled that evil smile and said, "You shouldn't trespass." I screamed and ran like hell.

   As I ran I started cursing those damn parents who sent me there, and then I said to myself, "Why didn't they listen to me? I don't want to be here! This place is evil! Why couldn't I go to the magic school? It was my first choice for a university!" Then I noticed that the walls were completely lined with soft plush toys, like in a carnival midway. I realized that I had gotten myself to the school I wanted to go to! I ran through the door at the end of the hall, and it took me outside to the campus. I had forgotten how nice and sunny it was, since the forest was so dense sunlight couldn't get through. There were a few students there, also wearing black Ohtori uniforms. But these students were friendly, waving and saying "Hello!" whenever I passed by. I stopped running, since I was safe there.

   I asked one student "How can I get enrolled here?" He began to reply, but some other student walked up to us and said "Oh, you can't leave Ohtori. You're bound to it!" I screamed a long, dramatic "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" and then kept repeating "I've gotta get out of there, I've gotta get out of there, I've gotta get out of there..." and then it changed to "I've gotta get out of here, I've gotta get out of here..." The dream's plot had changed, and my character had too. I was now the kind of person I normally am in my dreams, an adventurous wanderer. The problem was I didn't remember who I was exactly except that my parents were dead(which didn't really bother me) and that I was trying to flee something. I was running from whatever that something was on the highway the dream started on, which meant I was heading for the evil forest. I didn't realize I was in even bigger trouble than I was before until I had gone in too deep to find my way back out. I stopped to catch my breath and somehow got into the top of a tree. I decided I'd hide up there, cloaked in dark green foliage where I could never be found! Naturally, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and sitting behind me was Akio, who smiled that evil smile and said "Hello!" I didn't freak out this time since I knew I hadn't done anything wrong. I sat quietly and he introduced himself properly- "My name is Akio. I'm in charge of the school in this forest. If you'd like, I can enroll you here. Care to discuss it?" I figured it'd be better than staying in the tree, so I went with him. He decided that he'd take me for a ride in his car. We took the highway I came in on. Akio was wearing his chairman outfit, not the prince uniform, but that didn't make it less uncomfortable. As we passed the magic school I began a monologue vaguely similar to Utena's speech about lunch, but I had the good sense to keep it to myself. I thought, "I can't find eternity with him, or that school! It's just...just...oh, I know there's a word for it, but I don't know what it is! I could find it at the other school...they could help me find it! Yes, that's how I can do it! I'll find eternity with myself, in myself! I will find eternity and bring it to the world!" That was about when I realized that Akio was having sex with me on the forest floor. I thought, "Hey, wait! I can't let this happen! I have to protect the world!" Then I woke up.
