This is the first of two albums released in 2016 that consist entirely of the work J.A. Seazer did for Revolutionary Girl Utena. The "origination" part seems to be to do with these being tracks arranged and performed by J.A. Seazer and his theater group, contrasted to the "transformation" album where the arrangements were done by Shinkichi Mitsumune.

HQCD apparently means a special kind of material and production process designed to ensure higher quality in the audio on the disc. I can't confirm or deny this has any value, however, the tracks on the album have been 'remastered' for this printing and it does indeed make a difference, especially at very high volumes where the sound is somewhat cleaner. That having been said, it's not so drastic a change that you'd be likely to hear it without doing a side by side comparison to the original discs.

A note: The given names are predominantly based on the Utena Translation Project's original translations of the songs. Where a song title has become widely accepted as different, ie. The Sunlit Garden instead of The Sunny Garden, I have used the more popular name. Punctuation has been altered to better match the Japanese tracklists.

わたしは起源が好きである。
起源フェチとでも言おうか。
しかし誰しもが何らかのフェチストであることは間違いないはずなのにフェチという言葉は変態的に扱われる。
変態…といえば、人間はどこかの成長過程で劇的に様変わりする。
つまり変態すると思う。
そうこう考えているうちに「音楽というのはフェチの極みの表現媒体ではないだろうか」いう領域に迪り着く。
そう、わたしは音楽フェチである。
ついでに言わせてもらえば、わたしは演劇フェチでもある。
そうしたわたしの嗜好が、アニメ『少女革命ゥテナ』出会わせた。 1997年のことである。
演劇を起源としたわたしの音楽が、このような形へと変態して外界へ出てゆくなんて考えもしなかった。
絶対運命は天使を光に創造し、バーチャル•スター的音楽を発生させ、肉体の中の古生代を呼び起こす。
そして天空高くスピラ•ラビリス劇場を組み立て、地球を人物陳列室としながら、肉体星雲シュラを撞憬の天空に蘇ら达、わたしを万物百不思議^した。
寓意•寓話.寓エストと唱えながら、やがて、わたしを平俗宇宙の皇帝としてくれた。
同胞と信じている天然宮殿の遠近法は、人生の画法なり、ヮタシ空想生命体の体内こそ体内時計都市オルロィであると定めもした。
人生は偶然であるとされているが、偶然とは必然であり、絶対運命でもあるということを演劇から教わったことで『少女革命ゥテナ』との出会いは絶対運命であった思っている。
そして、劇場を起源とした音楽私生児たちがわたしの手のひらに再び帰ってきた。
世界旅行でもしてきたかのように、たくましく成長した彼らはどこか自信に満ちているようにもみえた。
昔はわたしのそばを離れようとしなかった彼らが、アストラガルス地球双六を手に「新たなる船出」を試みようとしている。ジュリアス•シーザーの革命を記したルカヌスの叙事詩『ファルサリア』のごとく、勇ましく旅立った彼らの行方を見届けるしよう。
万事究明、すでに賽は投げられた。
